Job Summary

The Quality Control Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of incoming and outgoing materials or products. This position involves tasks such as running tests, keeping a record of defects, analyzing products, and overseeing procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to and support of the Company Core Values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify all traveler sign-offs have been completed
  • Verify all SPC sheets have been completed and signed off
  • Generate Non-Conformance reports for all discrepant material
  • Identify potential issues/problems and recommend corrective action measures
  • Complete all paperwork and documentation required with order
  • Meet customer requirements by following work instructions including work orders and specification sheets
  • Independently operate equipment in an efficient and safe manner while meeting required quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Uphold the company core values
  • Inspect parts to print
  • Familiar with inspection tooling, height gages, calipers, and micrometers
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 2 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to speak and understand basic safety and manufacturing instructions
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers. Ability to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
Work Environment

The Quality Control Inspector will work in a fast-paced environment with moving mechanical parts. The employee may be exposed to hot and/or cold environment, chemicals, fumes or airborne particles, loud noises, risk of electrical shock and vibration low and high temperatures and/or other occupational hazards; personal protective equipment may be required.
