Position: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - Trauma Informed

Role Overview:

We are currently seeking a Trauma Informed BCBA to join our residential treatment team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including clinical staff, direct support professionals, and families, to deliver effective behavioral interventions tailored to the unique needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and guide programming efforts, ensuring the effective training of direct support professionals and related staff.
  • Lead the development and implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies, utilizing both discrete trial training and natural environment training methods.
  • Facilitate the creation of resources and support materials for clients and their families.
  • Provide direct instructional support, including supervision and training for other professionals.
  • Conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop targeted behavior strategies to promote positive outcomes.
  • Offer ongoing training and consultation to staff regarding ABA principles and behavior management techniques.
  • Establish and maintain data collection systems to monitor progress and inform programming decisions.
  • Develop and review behavior intervention plans, ensuring comprehensive training for all staff involved.
  • Utilize electronic health records to document sessions and maintain communication with all stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in the field of behavior analysis.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • BCBA certification with a minimum of two years of experience.
  • Proven expertise in behavior management and instructional strategies.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
