Job Overview

A dynamic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Client E-Billing Specialist to join the team at AMS Staffing, Inc. in Washington, DC. This full-time/direct hire role offers a salary range of $90K - $103K with comprehensive benefits and a hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Submit e-bills to clients utilizing Bill Blast and various e-billing vendors, ensuring timely and successful submission.
  • Create new e-files using the industry standard Legal Electronic Data Exchange Standard (LEDES) format.
  • Collaborate with Client Billing Specialists to identify and resolve issues on e-bills submitted.
  • Submit timekeeper data to clients and e-billing vendors, as well as budget and accrual information.
  • Work with Billing & Collections Departments to address client deductions and other issues.
  • Verify rate arrangements with the Pricing Department.
  • Monitor the status of invoices e-billed and follow up on outstanding e-bills to assist with collection efforts.
  • Provide backup support to other Client E-Billing Specialists.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of experience at a large law firm with relevant billing experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of legal e-billing experience.
  • Proficiency with Elite Enterprise or Aderant.
  • Motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individual with the ability to prioritize workload, multitask, and work independently.
  • Ability to handle a large volume of work and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to various situations, including overtime if needed.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel and Word.

Work Schedule:

A hybrid schedule with approximately 6 days per month onsite.
