We invite you to consider the opportunity for the Director of Housekeeping Services role. In this capacity, you will oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring adherence to the highest standards set forth by the resort. You will be responsible for supervising all housekeeping personnel and maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the department.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English; knowledge of Spanish is advantageous.
  • Experience in hotel or resort management, particularly in establishments with over 300 rooms.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the tourism sector and the operational dynamics of hotels/resorts is beneficial.
  • Competence in utilizing computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and Property or Lodging Management Systems.
  • Ability to efficiently manage and analyze data from Time/Attendance and other property management tools.

Physical Demands:

  • Medium work - occasionally exerting up to 50 pounds of force, and/or frequently or constantly exerting 20 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Flexibility in working hours is essential, including the possibility of weekends and holidays.
  • Capability to remain standing for the duration of the shift.
