Job Title: General Service Personnel

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a General Service Personnel. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized shop environment, and assisting our technicians with various tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with customers, answering their questions, and addressing their concerns.
  • Maintain a clean and organized shop environment by sweeping, mopping, and cleaning the shop, as well as disposing of trash and recyclables.
  • Assist technicians with various tasks, such as pushing vehicles in and out of the building, and working on vehicles under direct supervision.
  • Check and empty oil drain tanks when not in use to prevent technicians from having to do so.
  • Check the scrub wash tank weekly to ensure it is filled with water and soap, and perform maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Clean up around brake lathe, tire machine, wheel balancer, and oil receiver, and sweep metal shavings off the floor.
  • Check oil levels in air compressors and bleed off tanks of water at the bottom of the tanks weekly.
  • Check the level of recycled antifreeze tanks and report to the manager in writing.
  • Accomplish operations and organization mission by completing related tasks in a timely and neat manner.
  • Be on time to work and work when here, being regulated and not regulated, a little bit of a self-starter open to learning.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or working towards one or better.
  • Being open-minded, up for a challenge, having and showing some good common sense, analyzing information, judgment, client relationships, equipment maintenance, reporting skills, confidentiality, quality focus, results-driven, supply management, informing others.
Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
