Talent Acquisition Specialist

Human Resource Dimensions seeks a detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team. This entry-level role is an excellent opportunity to launch a career in Human Resources.
The successful candidate will provide exceptional support to the talent acquisition team, utilizing superior organizational and prioritization skills to maintain efficient and smooth operation of the recruiting function. As part of this role, you will work on-site two days per week.
Key Responsibilities:- Screen candidates through resume review and phone interviews to verify relevant hard and soft skills for specified roles and cultural fit.
- Collaborate with team leaders and hiring managers to develop engaging job descriptions and post them online, monitoring traffic and response levels, and editing postings as needed.
- Post open positions across various social media channels.
- Coordinate interviews between recruiters and candidates, serving as the primary point of contact for applicants.
- Verify and follow up with candidates' personal and professional references and previous employers.
- Nurture relationships with representatives of alumni associations, universities, job coaching agencies, and other groups that have connections with highly qualified job seekers.
- Manage the applicant tracking system, inputting candidate notes, tracking the recruitment process, and analyzing metrics.
- Recent graduate with a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Capacity to successfully manage competing priorities.
- A positive attitude with a solution-focused approach to challenges.
- Strong attention-to-detail regarding daily tasks, projects, and troubleshooting.
