Music Industry Career Advisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Admissions Advisor to join our team at Musicians Institute. As a key member of our admissions team, you will be responsible for recruiting and enrolling students into our music and theater programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Qualify applicants through telephone contact and personal interviews to determine motivation, interest, effort, and ability to qualify for various programs.
- Follow up on leads and inquiries to ensure a smooth enrollment process.
- Develop and implement creative strategies to locate new leads and meet admissions goals.
- Meet and exceed established admissions goals under stringent deadlines.
- Provide accurate and timely information to prospective students regarding program details, pricing, and terms.
- Participate in admissions-related recruiting events, such as student orientation, open house events, and admissions workshops.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Musicians Institute programs and requirements for various types of prospective students, including domestic, international, correspondence, high school, VA, and underclassmen students.
- Assist prospects with the application process and guide applicants through the start of school.
- Ensure that students complete required admissions documents and follow up with applicants through the enrollment completion process.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in admissions sales is required.
- Strong experience making outbound sales phone calls and generating leads.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively, think creatively, and demonstrate enthusiasm and positivity in interactions with people.
- Microsoft Office skills and ability to learn new computer skills/programs.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
