Job Overview


The Olsson Telecom division offers a wide range of services, including long-distance outside plant design, building entrance planning, Fiber-To-The-x (FTTx) design, GIS Asset Management, Fiber Mapping services, and project permit coordination.

As a Project Coordinator within the Telecom division, you will oversee and manage all facets of telecommunications initiatives from inception to completion.

This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to guarantee the successful execution of projects, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within budget, and meet all specifications.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the organization, execution, and completion of multiple telecommunications projects concurrently, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in partnership with stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Create detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, while effectively managing resources to achieve project success.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, sales, and customer service, to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
  • Proactively identify and address project risks and challenges, developing contingency plans as necessary to meet project goals.
  • Monitor project advancement, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives to refine project management processes and methodologies.
  • Encourage a collaborative and inclusive team culture, fostering open communication, knowledge sharing, and professional growth.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on telecommunications industry trends, technologies, and best practices, offering guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
