POSITION SUMMARY

The role involves sorting donated garments to ensure they meet quality criteria and organizing pre-sorted items for display in a retail environment and donation center through the execution of the following responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

  • Reviewing clothing items from bins to assess their suitability for the sales floor based on established quality benchmarks.
  • Identifying and categorizing high-value garments.
  • Sorting sellable items into designated bins to achieve set targets.
  • Separating items deemed unsellable into appropriate containers.
  • Counting and reporting on pre-sorted bins daily to reflect totals.
  • Arranging clothing on sales floor displays and removing items as necessary to maintain organization.
  • Keeping the workspace clean and adhering to standard operating procedures.
  • Reporting any known or suspected security issues to management.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES

This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

ADDITIONAL TASKS

Organizes and hangs clothing for transport to the sales area, ensuring similar items are grouped and following the appropriate color rotation system.

Acts as a backup for Donation Processor, Hanger, and Cashier roles as required.

Performs other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
