Job Overview

Starting compensation is $15.00 per hour, with opportunities for annual raises and performance bonuses. POSITION SUMMARY

The role involves sorting donated garments to ensure they meet quality criteria and organizing pre-sorted items for display in a retail environment and donation center through the execution of the following responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

  • Examining clothing retrieved from bins to assess its suitability for the sales floor based on established quality benchmarks.
  • Identifying and segregating higher-value apparel.
  • Sorting sellable items into designated bins to achieve set targets.
  • Disposing of unsellable items into appropriate containers.
  • Counting sorted bins and compiling a daily report reflecting totals.
  • Arranging clothing on sales floor racks and removing items as necessary to maintain space.
  • Keeping the work area tidy and adhering to standard operating procedures.
  • Reporting any known or suspected security issues to management.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES

This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

ADDITIONAL TASKS

Organizes clothing and prepares items for display on the sales floor, ensuring similar items are grouped and color rotation guidelines are followed.

Acts as a backup for other roles, including Donation Processor, Hanger, and Cashier as required.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
