Position Overview:

Summary of Responsibilities:
  • Act as a representative for patients regarding billing inquiries, assisting them in identifying optimal solutions for financing their medical expenses.
  • Apply the financial assistance policy with integrity and precision.
  • Address patient billing issues through various communication channels, including phone, written correspondence, or face-to-face interactions.
  • Investigate and resolve complaints and issues in a courteous and effective manner.
Demonstrate respect and empathy while delivering outstanding service to all clients, colleagues, and stakeholders. Actively foster a supportive environment and uphold the core values aligned with the mission of the organization.

Essential Qualifications:
  • High school diploma with a minimum of two years' experience in finance and medical claims processing.
  • Understanding of fundamental medical terminology along with knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and other healthcare programs.
  • Competence in Windows, Word, and Excel, coupled with general computer literacy.
  • Familiarity with hospital financial systems and strong verbal and written communication abilities.
