Job Title: Registered Dietitian

Heritage Christian Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their nutritional needs.

Job Summary:

The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for assessing nutritional needs, developing and implementing nutrition programs, and evaluating and reporting results. You will work closely with registered nurses to coordinate medical and nutritional needs, provide tools and education to individuals and staff on good nutrition and healthy eating habits, and maintain effective communication with guardians, RNs, and other team members.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess nutritional needs and develop individualized nutrition plans
  • Collaborate with registered nurses to coordinate medical and nutritional needs
  • Provide education and tools to individuals and staff on good nutrition and healthy eating habits
  • Maintain effective communication with guardians, RNs, and other team members
  • Participate in agency functions and community meetings as requested
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or higher
  • New York State license
  • Prior experience with developmental disabilities preferred
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
