Dietary Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Dietary Technician to join our team at Kaleida Health. As a key member of our nutrition support team, you will assist the clinical dietitian in providing Medical Nutrition Therapy to patients, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient nutritional status and develop personalized care plans
• Assist with formula preparation and delivery, adhering to quality control standards
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment, following infection control guidelines
• Communicate effectively with patient care areas regarding formula orders and storage
• Update patient records and maintain accurate inventory of formula stock

Requirements:

• Associate of Applied Science in Dietetic Technology or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in Dietetic Technician preferred
• Registered Dietetic Technician within 1 year preferred
