Position Summary:

The Manufacturing Process Engineer plays a crucial role in examining, documenting, developing, and executing manufacturing processes and enhancements.

This position focuses on fostering manufacturing efficiency and driving process improvements, with a commitment to advancing the company and its offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine process documentation, including work instructions, manufacturing procedures, checklists, troubleshooting guides, and assembly quality plans.
- Review and implement customer engineering changes into production processes.
- Transform engineering drawings and specifications into actionable manufacturing plans within a CNC machining context.
- Formulate productivity plans that align with the appropriate CNC equipment during product development.
- Optimize manufacturing methods and equipment utilized in part production.
- Provide technical support across all production departments to achieve divisional goals.
- Continuously enhance quality and productivity for products and processes within designated areas.
- Address safety and ergonomic considerations within the workspace.
- Proactively tackle potential issues and apply effective problem-solving techniques.
- Interpret and clarify customer product documentation, defining manufacturing processes and offering support for assigned products.
- Lead initiatives aimed at improving manufacturing productivity, efficiency, and quality, collaborating with technical support teams to reduce cycle times and manufacturing costs.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or 7 years of relevant manufacturing experience with progressive responsibilities.
- At least 4 years of engineering experience in CNC machining, including job router creation, cycle time reduction, and job estimation.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and communicate clearly with attention to detail.
- Strong skills in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and New Product Introduction (NPI).
- Proficient in analytical methodologies, including Six Sigma and Lean Principles.
- Knowledgeable in quality assurance and control practices.
- Competent in using Project Management tools and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing tasks independently.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of $75,000-$95,000 based on experience.
