About the Role

Cigna Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Risk Management & Underwriting Leadership Development Program (RULDP). As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in evaluating the risk of insuring potential customers and setting premium rates for insurance coverage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the risk of insuring potential customers and set premium rates for insurance coverage
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and analysis to inform underwriting decisions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with matrix partners within the business
  • Participate in the development and implementation of underwriting strategies and policies
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure the company remains competitive

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Risk Management, Economics, Finance, or Accounting
  • 0-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively
  • High comfort level with math and numbers
