Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at ObjectiveHealth. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, payment processing, and collections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and manage accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, payment posting, and collections.
  • Monitor and reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Communicate with customers to resolve billing issues and follow up on outstanding invoices.
  • Achieve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) levels at or below targets set by our Board.
  • Prepare and distribute regular accounts receivable reports to management, as needed.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all accounts receivable activities.
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus.
