Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Associate Specialist to join our dynamic team at the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO). This role will play a critical part in strengthening city and county health departments by providing logistical and organizational support to our meetings and membership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate key logistics and manage deliverables for partner agreements, sponsor, and exhibitor agreements for our flagship annual hybrid conferences.
  • Work collaboratively across teams to ensure effective fulfillment and tracking of agreements and payment of invoices.
  • Support the execution of the Affiliate Business Partner Program, including membership, sponsorship, and exhibits.
  • Develop and maintain internal processes and procedures to ensure effective customer services for Affiliate Business Partners and other non-profit and for-profit prospects.
  • Provide timely and relevant follow-up to all ABP requests and correspondence.
Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent and a minimum of three years of work experience.
  • Experience working in an association environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of office practices, procedures, and equipment.
  • Understanding of professional association issues and practices, including the contracting process, meeting planning, billing, and payment collection.
