We are in search of a dedicated bilingual Accountant/Bookkeeper (Italian/English) to enhance our expanding Business Processing Outsourcing Division. Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting Italian clients and their foreign parent companies with accounting, payroll, and business administration requirements in the United States.
  • Preparing financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annually) along with comprehensive reporting packages.
  • Managing sales and use tax returns, as well as other informational returns for various states and annual information returns.
  • Coordinating with payroll processing providers.
Essential Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1+ years of relevant accounting experience, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and client communication.
  • Intermediate proficiency in the Italian language is essential.
  • Experience with at least one of the following software: QuickBooks, SAGE, Navision (Microsoft Dynamics), Datev, or SAP.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Basic understanding of US-GAAP and the US tax system.
  • Proficient in MS Word and MS Outlook, with a working knowledge of MS Excel and Adobe software applications.
  • Exhibit a high level of client-service orientation, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information discreetly while understanding clients' needs.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in a corporate accounting setting or related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
