Key Responsibilities:
  • As a member of the Client Accounting Services (CAS) team, you will manage a variety of client accounts assigned to you.
  • The CAS role encompasses bookkeeping, payroll and payroll tax management, sales and use tax compliance, financial statement preparation, and an array of other accounting and advisory services.
  • Essential skills include a solid understanding of accounting principles and standard practices for documenting business transactions in a general ledger, performing account reconciliations, preparing work papers, and posting journal entries, with the flexibility to adjust tasks based on engagement requirements.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Accounting is mandatory
    • This position is ideal for candidates with an Accounting degree who are not pursuing CPA certification.
  • 3-5 years of relevant bookkeeping experience along with an accounting degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as familiarity with various accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero.
  • Willingness to work additional hours during peak seasons.
  • A high level of discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Personal attributes should include integrity, professionalism in demeanor and appearance, and reliability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
