Job Mission

The Senior Electronics Design Engineer plays a crucial role in delivering electronic and electrical designs throughout the entire development process. From conceptual design to detail design, prototypes to volume manufacturing, initial integration to qualification, this position requires expertise and collaboration with a multidisciplinary project team. The successful candidate will perform engineering analysis, generate detailed electronic designs, create engineering drawings/documents, and partner with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define electrical and test requirements
  • Design circuits and test equipment
  • Specify and design all aspects of electronic development, including analog, digital, and programmable logic circuit design
  • Develop and test electronic systems to component level
  • Write technical documents, specifications, test procedures, and test reports
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, with 5+ years of relevant design experience. They will have multiple years of experience as a designer of electronic functions and sub-systems, including experience working in multidisciplinary design teams to establish agreement on specifications. Additionally, they will require experience in one or more of the following technical skills: digital design, VHDL embedded code for FPGA logic, A/D and/or D/A, testing validation and verification (V&V) of requirements, analog design, low noise analog interface for sensor application, power amplifier design, capacitance gauge, LVDT interface design, and high voltage (>1KV).

Work Environment

This position is located on-site in Wilton, CT, and requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings, and meetings. A flexible workplace arrangement may be available to employees working in roles conducive to remote work (up to two days a week).
