ASML US, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team in the Development & Engineering organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in mechanical engineering, quality assurance, and supplier development. They will be responsible for driving industrialization efforts of the manufacturing process of mechanical components and parts, working closely with suppliers and ASML cross-sector development teams.

The main goal of this cross-sector activity is to secure an excellent quality of parts delivered by our suppliers. The successful candidate will be part of the D&E project team and will interface with project leaders, design engineers, architects, manufacturing & customer support engineers, logistics, procurement, etc.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers to drive industrialization efforts
  • Working closely with suppliers and ASML cross-sector development teams to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of the product generation process
  • Ensuring that part quality, manufacturability, and serviceability aspects are covered in the design phase
  • Documenting the D&E project collaboration, including supplier & co-development responsibilities and roles via a Statement of Work (SoW)
  • Delivering parts quality from suppliers in the co-development product generation process

Requirements include a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, or similar, and a minimum of 8 years of work experience. Relevant work experience must have taken place as an experienced designer or process engineer who has gained experience in the areas of Quality systems and methodologies (Six Sigma Green or Black belt), as well as direct manufacturing and/or engineering experience.

Additional responsibilities may include working on platforms and working around chemicals. This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 CFR 730-774). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
