At Chipotle Mexican Grill, we're not just serving food - we're cultivating a better world. As an Apprentice General Manager, you'll be part of a team that's passionate about providing a great guest experience and making a positive impact on our communities.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the restaurant team in successful day-to-day operations, setting the tone for a positive and productive work environment.
  • Act as General Manager when needed, ensuring seamless operations and excellent customer service.
  • Develop and train the restaurant team, focusing on Kitchen and Service Managers.
  • Manage employee relations, including payroll, benefits, and career development opportunities.
  • Identify and hire top talent, participating in personnel decisions and transfers.
  • Write schedules that balance business needs with employee satisfaction and well-being.
  • Assist with administrative duties, including inventory, food ordering, and cash handling.
  • Communicate company changes and focus areas to the team, ensuring everyone is aligned and motivated.
  • Build sales and manage the restaurant budget, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
  • Develop positive working relationships with all restaurant personnel.
  • Communicate clearly and listen attentively to guests and employees.
  • Speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
  • Adapt and succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior supervisory experience in the restaurant industry.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Leadership and development abilities.
  • Experience as a Chipotle Service Manager.
  • Equivalent education and experience, including an A.A. or B.A./B.S. in a related field.
  • Proficiency in PC and Microsoft Office Suite.
