Process Safety Trainee

Bunge is a world leader in sourcing, processing, and supplying oilseed and grain products and ingredients. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process Safety Trainee to join our Safety team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development, implementation, and sustainment of Process Safety Management (PSM) programs and PSM-related programs at sites across the US and Canada.
  • Maintain and assist in the development of systems to ensure all areas of the BNA sites comply with the process safety elements of OSHA's process safety standard.
  • Assist in the maintenance of process safety information, process hazard analysis, operating procedures, operator training, management of change, pre-startup safety reviews, and mechanical integrity.
  • Contribute to formal investigations for process safety incidents and assist in continuous improvement initiatives for PSM program elements.
  • Assist in the development and collection of KPI data to track plant PSM performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with 0+ years of process engineering experience in manufacturing.
  • Strong process engineering skills, with an emphasis on troubleshooting and process improvement.
  • Strong data management and organizational skills utilizing Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time.
