Nighttime Pastry Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nighttime Pastry Specialist to join our team at Schnucks. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of pastries, breads, and other sweet treats for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers

• Assist with receiving and processing incoming products from our bakery plant and direct store delivery vendors

• Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, breads, and other sweet treats according to established recipes

• Inspect products for quality and make adjustments to the process as needed

• Review production schedules to determine the variety and quantity of goods to bake and assemble supplies and equipment needed for daily baking activities

• Package and display fresh-baked products in a visually appealing manner

• Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to company safety and sanitation procedures

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately

Training and Development
