Job Summary:

The Perioperative Registered Nurse is a key member of the USPI team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the perioperative services. This role requires a strong nursing background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe and effective patient care using the nursing process and medical plan of care.
  • Support the mission, vision, and values of USPI, including a commitment to quality, safety, and patient-centered care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse license in the state of New Jersey.
  • Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in PreOp/PACU or Critical Care, with a strong background in perioperative nursing.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing situations.
