This role involves providing safe, effective, and patient-centered care throughout the perioperative experience for diverse patient populations. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care as a Registered Nurse in PreOp and PACU settings.
- Maintain an active Registered Nurse license in New Jersey.
- Ensure current certifications in CPR, ACLS, and PALS.
- Demonstrate a minimum of two years of experience in PreOp/PACU or Critical Care, with ASC experience being advantageous.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to correct errors effectively.
- Communicate effectively and maintain excellent organizational skills.
- Show accountability, professionalism, and adaptability to change.
- Possess a solid understanding of surgical procedures and patient management.
- Implement aseptic techniques proficiently.
- Display exceptional teaching abilities.
- Understand Performance Improvement principles.
- Work collaboratively as a team player, communicating effectively with staff, patients, and physicians.
