Position Overview:
The Preoperative/PACU RN plays a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of safe and effective patient care throughout the perioperative process. This Registered Nurse will utilize the nursing process, adhere to medical plans, and follow organizational policies to provide comprehensive care for diverse patient populations.
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered care in the PreOp and PACU settings.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards in all nursing practices.
- Demonstrate accountability and professionalism in all interactions.
- Support the mission and values of USPI through compassionate care.

Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in New Jersey.
- Current certifications in CPR, ACLS, and PALS.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in PreOp/PACU or Critical Care settings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to dynamic environments.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Commitment to teamwork and collaboration with patients and healthcare providers.
