POSITION SUMMARY
A certified Cardiac Imaging Specialist conducts diagnostic and specialized ultrasonography in alignment with established protocols and procedures.

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

A High School diploma or equivalent certification (e.g., GED, HiSET, TASC Test) from an accredited institution is mandatory. Registration as a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) is required. Documentation of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for certification must be provided. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is essential. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification may be necessary depending on the specialty.

EXPERIENCE
Preferred candidates will have two to three years of experience in adult echocardiography and stress echocardiography. The ability to independently conduct tests is essential.

SKILLS

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and decision-making abilities are crucial. Candidates should demonstrate initiative and the capacity to work autonomously.
