Position Overview: The RN in PreOp/PACU is a licensed professional who delivers exceptional patient care by utilizing the nursing process, adhering to the medical plan of care, and following organizational protocols. This role is pivotal in ensuring safe, effective, and patient-centered care within the perioperative services for diverse patient populations. The RN in this capacity upholds the mission, vision, and values of our organization.

Key Qualifications:
  • Valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey.
  • Current certifications in CPR, ACLS, and PALS.
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • At least 2 years of experience in PreOp/PACU or Critical Care; experience in an Ambulatory Surgical Center is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and rectify issues.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and adaptability to change.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
  • Familiarity with aseptic techniques and their application.
  • Strong teaching capabilities.
  • Basic understanding of Performance Improvement principles.
  • Team-oriented with effective communication skills for interaction with staff, patients, and physicians.
