Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our Inpatient Float Pool team at UNC Health Care. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients in a variety of settings, including inpatient units and emergency departments.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, providing timely and effective interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience.
