Job Description:


As a Pharmacy Operations Manager at Walgreens, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring efficient workflow and a positive patient experience. This role requires a strong leader who can supervise pharmacy technicians and cashiers, manage inventory, and maintain compliance with company policies and regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage pharmacy operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and cashiers, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and efficient workflow.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve pharmacy operations, including workflow optimization and quality control.
  • Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to ensure compliance with company policies, laws, and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, patients, and team members to resolve issues and provide excellent customer service.


Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.
  • At least one year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
