About the Job: We are seeking a highly skilled Pipe System Specialist to join our team at the Town of Arlington. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and heating systems, with experience in installation, repair, and maintenance.
Job Summary: As a Pipe System Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the plumbing and heating systems in town buildings and properties. This includes installing and repairing pipes, fixtures, and appliances, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing and heating systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair leaks and other issues with plumbing and heating systems.
- Load and unload trucks, and pick up and haul materials.
Requirements:
- High school or vocational school diploma in plumbing and heating; four years of experience in plumbing and heating systems; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Journeyman Plumber's License
- Valid Massachusetts Drivers License, Class D
Salary and Benefits: The salary for this position is $61,059 - $82,810 annually, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
