Job Overview

Mi-T-M Corporation is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance operations effectively. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functionality of our manufacturing facility through the implementation of proactive maintenance strategies, management of repair activities, and collaboration with various departments to improve production efficiency. The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor will oversee a dedicated team of maintenance technicians, coordinating schedules and managing financial resources to uphold the operational integrity of all company facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute maintenance protocols, strategies, and systems aimed at minimizing downtime and maximizing operational efficiency.
  • Oversee and direct the activities of maintenance technicians, electricians, and other personnel within the maintenance department.
  • Organize and prioritize maintenance projects and tasks, ensuring timely execution within budgetary limits.
  • Perform routine inspections of machinery, equipment, and infrastructure to detect and address potential issues proactively.
  • Collaborate with production teams to plan maintenance activities that reduce disruptions to manufacturing workflows.
  • Manage inventory levels of spare parts, tools, and supplies essential for maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies, fostering a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
  • Oversee contracts and relationships with external service providers and suppliers.
  • Prepare and manage the maintenance department budget, monitoring expenses and proposing cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or in a similar capacity within a manufacturing setting.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, robotics, and automated systems is advantageous.
  • Exceptional leadership and organizational abilities, with a talent for prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proficient in maintenance management software and systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-focused environment.
  • Electrical licensing is preferred but not mandatory.
