Job Overview

Mi-T-M Corporation is seeking a proficient Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance division effectively. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functionality of our manufacturing plant by establishing preventive maintenance protocols, managing repairs, and working closely with various departments to improve production workflows. The Maintenance Manager will supervise a team of four maintenance technicians, coordinating schedules and overseeing budgets to ensure the operational efficiency of all company facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute maintenance strategies, procedures, and systems to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
  • Oversee and direct the activities of maintenance technicians, electricians, and other personnel within the maintenance department.
  • Organize and prioritize maintenance assignments and projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Perform regular assessments of machinery, equipment, and infrastructure to identify and address potential issues proactively.
  • Collaborate with production teams to plan maintenance activities that reduce interruptions to manufacturing operations.
  • Manage inventory levels of spare parts, tools, and supplies essential for maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies, fostering a safety-first culture within the maintenance team.
  • Administer contracts and maintain relationships with external service providers and suppliers.
  • Prepare and oversee the maintenance department budget, monitoring expenses and suggesting cost-effective measures.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience (5+ years) as a Maintenance Manager or in a comparable role within a manufacturing setting.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, robotics, and automated systems is preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership and organizational abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proficient in maintenance management software and systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to addressing maintenance challenges.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Electrical certification is not mandatory but is advantageous.
