We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented 3rd Shift Paint Line Worker to join our team at Michelin. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, quality, and production of Michelin parts and services.
Key Responsibilities- Unload and load parts onto the conveyor system.
- Apply masking, plugs, or tape to unpainted parts.
- Perform material handling using a walk-behind.
- Inspect painted units for runs, sags, and unpainted areas.
- Adjust nozzles to control the direction and pattern of spray and correct flaws in coating.
- Participate in cross-training in other departments.
- Practice safe work habits and adhere to safety procedures and guidelines.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of standard work instructions and their application to specific responsibilities.
- Follow accurate verbal and written procedures in operating production equipment and performing processing steps.
- Accurately complete production documentation.
- Identify, escalate, and document events that deviate from normal operation.
- Participate in investigations as needed.
- Assist with training for less experienced personnel.
- Interact with other support functions, such as Quality and Maintenance.
- Utilize manufacturing knowledge to improve process operations and affect positive change.
- Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical operations.
- Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.
- Operate assigned equipment.
- Participate in improvement projects.
- Will be required to work overtime from time to time, including weekends.
- Support the EMS, QMS, and H&S systems.
- Perform other duties and assignments as directed by management.

- The employee frequently uses hands and fingers and stands for long periods of time.
- Able to work in a fast-paced work environment.

- High School Diploma/G.E.D. required.
- 1-2 years' experience in the painting process is a plus.
- Valid driver's license.
- Basic math skills.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices.
