Diesel Technician/Mechanic II

About the Job
Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic II to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
- Diagnose and repair complex issues with engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
- Work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks
- Stay up-to-date with the latest vehicle maintenance technologies and procedures
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
- ASE certification and 608/609 certifications a plus
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
