Established in 2008, we operate across multiple states, managing over 7,000 multi-family units and assets exceeding $1.5 billion. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the leasing process, which includes managing applications, conducting property tours, and preparing lease agreements.
- Address resident inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Help coordinate maintenance requests, ensuring timely completion of work orders.
- Facilitate move-ins and move-outs, including conducting inspections and preparing necessary documentation.
- Collect and process rent payments, prepare deposits, and maintain accurate resident account records.
- Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports, including occupancy and delinquency reports.
- Assist in organizing resident events and activities.
- Maintain up-to-date resident and vendor files.
- Ensure compliance with city, state, and federal Fair Housing laws, as well as relevant regulations regarding resident screening and community operations.
- Adhere to all property management policies and procedures.
- Follow safety protocols as outlined in the Employee Handbook and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and consistently represent the company positively.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business, real estate, or a related field is preferred.
- At least one year of bookkeeping, accounting, or financial experience is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of sales experience is preferred.
- One year of experience in onsite multi-family housing is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
- Experience with property management software is preferred (e.g., Yardi Voyager, RentCafe, Yieldstar, LEO, and CRM).
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to property management is essential.
- Customer service orientation and a passion for property management are crucial.
- A strong desire to lead within your role and the local community is expected.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
