We are seeking a skilled Clinical Scheduling Coordinator to join our team at A-Line Staffing Solutions. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for managing patient schedules, appointments, and communications. Key Responsibilities

• Manage patient schedules, appointments, and communications in a fast-paced medical office setting
• Answer incoming calls, assess caller needs, and direct to appropriate personnel or pages clinic staff as necessary
• Schedule new patients, patient referrals, and returning patients in our computer system, adhering to physician and office guidelines
• Obtain and enter insurance authorization, and correspondence relating to referrals in patient charts and/or electronic medical records (EMR)
• Collect co-pays, deductible, and other out-of-pocket amounts at time of visit
• Maintain primary office scheduling template containing physician meetings, satellite schedule, rounding, and call coverage
• Arrange for patients to have financial counseling as needed
• Demonstrate an understanding of patient confidentiality to protect patient and clinic/practice information
• Follow policies and procedures to contribute to the efficiency of the front office

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 0-3 years' experience in a medical office setting preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and coding a plus
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required
