About This Role

Christus Health is seeking a skilled Ambulatory Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling patients for treatment and arranging various tests and procedures in an ambulatory in/outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and direct phone calls from patients and physician offices
  • Schedule patients for treatment by multiple providers and treatment areas, and arrange associated tests and procedures according to established guidelines and criteria
  • Prioritize appointments to foster optimum patient care, efficient utilization of physician's clinical staff, equipment, and facilities
  • Handle urgent patient care calls and alert providers to emergent symptoms and concerns

Compensation

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
