Job Summary:

The Wencor Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Inside Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling corporate products or services through the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to discuss their needs and explain how our products can meet those needs.
  • Identify and target opportunities and execute sales actions to achieve sales goals.
  • Provide world-class service to customers, ensuring prompt and effective communication.
  • Monitor quote activity and provide customer updates as needed.
  • Pursue long-term agreements for repairs contracts and assist in achieving sales goals.
  • Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, and capabilities.
  • Emphasize product features based on customer needs and provide technical information as needed.
  • Assist with collections and obtain competitive information and intelligence on responsible accounts.
  • Work closely with Customer Service Representatives and provide information and updates for various sales operation and resource systems.
  • Perform market research on new and existing products and analyze and respond to Request for Quotes (RFQs) via email or telephone.
  • Support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred but not necessary.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in remote selling aerospace products into airlines, MROs, and distributors.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to summarize data and trends clearly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and travel up to 10%.

Language Skills: Ability to write business correspondence and effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

Reasoning Skills: Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form.
