The Role
We're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business relationships and serving as the first level of support to existing clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Develop prospective clients through various strategies, including internet research, trade show lists, referrals, professional directories, and personal investigation.
- Client Acquisition: Foster and close new clients through referrals, cold calling, networking, and other means, such as tradeshows and regional organizations.
- Relationship Management: Grow new business from existing clients by working closely with senior leadership to expand current relationships and upsell the TransPerfect portfolio.
- Problem Solving: Creatively problem solve to improve current new business development strategy.
- Negotiation: Negotiate rates and deadlines with prospective and current clients.
- Client Education: Educate prospective and existing clients regarding the translation process, including TransPerfect's rates, justification for turnaround time, and competitors' information.
- Project Management: Liaise with production to ensure that all jobs are handled appropriately and with keen attention to detail, resulting in a perfect product.
- Client Satisfaction: Consistently follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction with delivery, quality, and customer service.
- Industry Knowledge: Understand all industries that TransPerfect markets to, including industry leaders, current events, and any other pertinent data.
Requirements
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
