About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Staff Engineer to join our team at Westwood Professional Services, Inc. This is a unique opportunity to work on a wide range of structural design projects, including utility-scale solar projects, substations, and transmission line infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop structural systems for foundations, ancillary structures, and anchorage for solar projects and other infrastructure.
  • Prepare and review structural design reports, specifications, and plans.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Proficiency in IBC, ASCE 7, AISC 360, ACI 318, and other relevant codes and standards.
  • Experience with shallow and deep foundations, connection and anchorage design, steel member design, and reinforced and prestressed concrete design.
  • Strong understanding of seismic design, distributed renewable energy system design, and industrialized construction.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, Bluebeam, and other relevant software.
  • EIT/FE certification.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
What We Offer

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. offers a competitive compensation package, including a minimum salary of $68,000 per year and a maximum salary of $75,000 per year.
