Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electro-mechanical lifting equipment that meets customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in overhead material handling design, applicable codes, cost structure, and integration with customer facilities.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical engineering preferred.
  • Seven years of experience working as a mechanical, electrical, or structural design engineer, ten years preferred.
  • Two years of experience managing projects, five years preferred.
  • Two years of experience quoting or estimating projects.
  • CAD drawing and modeling experience.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD or Solidworks, experience in both preferred.
  • Mechanical and structural design experience.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical fundamentals.
  • Ability to interpret and apply design codes.
  • Strong computer skills: proficient in MS 365/Office Suite and Acrobat required, Epicor preferred.
