Underground Storage Tank Technician

Position Summary:
The primary role involves overseeing a team, managing project locations, maintaining an inventory of materials utilized on-site, supervising subcontractors, and executing both above-ground and underground tank installations. This position offers extensive travel opportunities, allowing you to explore a specialized industry, including work at military installations, while engaging in a dynamic work environment with varied daily tasks.
Incentives:
*Sign-on bonuses available for certified UST Installers
*Up to 95% travel required
*Daily per diem of $60
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and evaluate petroleum storage tanks and associated systems.
- Interpret and work from blueprints.
- Utilize various power tools, including skid loaders and excavators.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
- Travel extensively to remote job sites (return home on weekends).
- Work outdoors in diverse weather conditions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of procurement procedures and policies.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational capabilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to read, interpret, and clarify policies and procedures related to procurement.
- Demonstrated strong work history.
- Critical thinking skills.
- Physical capability to lift up to 70 lbs. consistently.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
- A valid Driver's License is mandatory.
- Government Security Clearance is required.
- Prior experience in the construction sector.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications such as Word and Excel.
