Key Responsibilities (may include, but are not limited to):

  • Conducting environmental cleanup operations in various settings
  • Responding to oil spills and hazardous materials incidents
  • Working in and around water
  • Operating commercial vehicles
  • Utilizing equipment such as hand tools (hydraulic, pneumatic, electric, gas-powered), forklifts, and heavy machinery (excavators, loaders, backhoes)
  • Deploying and managing absorbent materials
  • Performing confined space entry and rescue operations
  • Carrying out asbestos and methamphetamine abatement tasks

Qualifications:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record for the past three years
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test
  • Passing a pre-employment DOT physical and being medically fit to wear a respirator
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Commitment to safe work practices
  • Availability to work any day of the week, including weekends
  • Willingness to respond to after-hours emergencies
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Capacity to perform under high-pressure situations and meet deadlines
  • Ability to wear a Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)

Preferred Credentials:

  • 40-hour HAZWOPER certification (training available, with required baseline re-training)
  • Experience as a Clandestine Drug Lab (CDL) worker and/or supervisor
  • Experience as an asbestos abatement worker and/or supervisor
  • TWIC certification
