The Warehouse Logistics Specialist is a key member of our team-oriented warehouse process. Responsibilities include unloading of inbound bulk ingredients into bulk ingredient silos and conducting Cleaning and Inspection Procedures (CIPs) to prepare bulk tanks for ingredient delivery. The successful candidate will maintain accurate documentation of all products and ensure a safe work environment for themselves, colleagues, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the procurement team to track ingredient deliveries and maintain inventory levels
- Unload bulk ingredients into designated silos and ensure proper storage
- Monitor inventory levels and provide feedback to relevant personnel
- Conduct CIPs to ensure tanks are ready for liquid ingredient delivery
- Receive product into our SAP system and verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing product against documentation
- Verify Certificate of Analysis (COA) documentation for incoming loads against Aryzta ingredient specifications
- Conduct sampling and testing of bulk trucks and unitized ingredients
- Maintain files of Certificates of Analysis for raw materials
- Enter receipts into the SAP system and maintain a receiving log
- Inspect the warehouse daily and report any product damage, equipment malfunctions, or department deficiencies to relevant personnel
- Assist in training new hires as needed
- Ensure the warehouse and outside grounds are kept clean and organized
- Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all times
- Adhere to production and packaging work schedules and running orders
- Perform other duties as assigned or required
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in warehouse receiving, with bulk silo ingredient receiving being a plus
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with SAP, MS Outlook, and Excel
- Documented equipment training using forklifts, electric and manual jacks, and other moving equipment
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Education, Operational Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies Proficiency Level
Required
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred
- Bulk receiving experience is a plus
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes on the production line
- Position requires the ability to act as a member of a highly functioning team
- Lift/Carry up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance
