Business Intelligence Sales Performance Analyst

About the Role:
US Foods, Inc. is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Sales Performance Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial Operations department, this individual will play a critical role in driving sales growth and profitability.
Job Description:
The Business Intelligence Sales Performance Analyst will serve as a strategic partner to the Area Director Finance, analyzing area and market data to provide insights and recommendations for core strategies. This includes conducting market share analysis, reviewing industry trends, and generating reports to inform business decisions.
This role requires strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience in Oracle (Merlin), Salesforce (Sous), Tableau, and Sigma is also highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze area and market data to identify trends and opportunities
- Develop and maintain complex databases and reports using Access, Excel, and other tools
- Presents findings and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with merchandising, replenishment, finance, marketing, support field, and operations teams to ensure alignment and shared insights
- Support customer contract management, including contract generation, performance tracking, and rebate requests
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience in an analytical role
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Oracle (Merlin), Salesforce (Sous), Tableau, and Sigma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Estimated Salary Range:$65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
