Position Overview

Salary Range: $55,000-$80,000/year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage cash accounts, focusing on platform and intercompany transactions linked to our international operations.
  • Document platform transactions and cash settlements while ensuring accurate reconciliation of platform balances.
  • Examine daily cash reconciliation discrepancies and collaborate with OTC Operations, Finance/Data teams, Market Making, and various Technology teams to address any inconsistencies.
  • Assist in the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and related schedules.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures governing platform accounting activities.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to implement new business areas, facilitating efficient accounting transactions as required.
  • Analyze data in relation to business drivers to uncover trends and issues.
  • Maintain current process documentation and procedures as assigned.
  • Support ad hoc financial information requests, analyses, and other special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the fintech or financial services sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA designation preferred.
  • Fundamental understanding of payment systems and cash reconciliation processes.
  • Basic knowledge of blockchain technology and the cryptocurrency market.
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly in MS Excel, along with effective business partnering, problem-solving, and prioritization abilities.
  • Capability to communicate and collaborate with various teams beyond Finance, including Data, Market Making, and Engineering groups.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic environment and recommend as well as implement process enhancements.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
