As a Medical Records Specialist, you will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining client records, analyzing billing records and health insurance data, and maintaining spreadsheets with pertinent information.
Key Responsibilities- Request, organize, and thoroughly review medical records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Analyze billing records and health insurance data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
- Maintain spreadsheets with pertinent information, treatment timelines, and patient health data to ensure timely retrieval of client records.
- Identify and resolve issues with lien carriers to ensure smooth claims processing.
- Proficient in Excel and medical terminology.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and highly organized with excellent communication skills.
- 1-2 years of experience in medical records preferred.
- Competitive salary up to $40,000 per year.
- 401(k) plan, dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.
- Full-time position with an 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday.
