Job OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Field Sales Specialist for an assigned territory. This role offers an exciting opportunity to represent Cavbeer and our portfolio in the dynamic beverage market.
Key Responsibilities- Build and Maintain Relationships: Develop and maintain positive relationships with retail partners to ensure effective merchandising, reset completions, and promotion of our products.
- Route Sales: Execute and close sales with retail decision-makers for assigned routes.
- Inventory Management: Monitor individual store inventory levels, upsell incremental inventory as assigned, and assist with restocking.
- Merchandising and Display: Ensure proper retail pricing, signage, and merchandising strategies to optimize product visibility.
- Point-of-Sale Material: Responsible for appropriate placement and effective utilization of point-of-sale material.
- Display Maintenance: Sell and maintain incremental displays with proper pricing and merchandising, as assigned.
- Quality Control: Follow company standards for freshness and quality control.
- Communication: Communicate daily/weekly/monthly account activities to appropriate parties through pre-plans and account/market recaps.
- Team Collaboration: Build and maintain positive relationships with internal Cavbeer teammates.
- Product Promotion: Conduct product tastings and demonstrations to promote brand awareness.
- Training and Education: Provide product knowledge training to retail staff.
- Company Representation: Represent Cavbeer standards every day in the market, at industry events, and trade shows as required.

- Type of Person We Are Looking For: Candidates must be energetic, competitive, and passionate about a career in sales.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience with outside field sales, preferably in the beverage industry with a distributor or supplier.
- Autonomy and Self-Motivation: People who can work autonomously and be self-motivated.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent, 1+ years of experience in account sales management, merchandising, retail sales, or other experience with consumer-packaged goods.
- Soft Skills: Positive attitude and outgoing personality, detail-oriented, professional demeanor with excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite with the ability to utilize company-issued technology.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Age and Background Check: Must be at least 21 years of age and must be able to pass a post-offer background check.
- Transportation and Insurance: Must have reliable automobile transportation, maintain an acceptable driving record, and valid driver's license, and maintain auto insurance coverage of at least the minimum amount specified by the Company and state law.
